Education

Trailblazers Foundation believes in education as the best tool to change the world. Education and awareness are facilitators of change. Trailblazers Foundation has conceived and conducted various programmes in the field of Education. Our flagship programmes are Multiply the Message, Beyond the Classroom and Career Vision workshop for teachers. Teachers act as multipliers of the message thereby reaching out to students and community.

Environment

“Exercise environmental stewardship and strengthen governance” – Ban Ki-moon
It is of utmost importance that today’s generation understands using the resources sustainably and conserves them for future generations. Trailblazers Foundation with its flagship Multiply the Message workshop through innovative methods of teaching trains teachers and through them creates awareness among students and the society. The foundation also organizes plantation drives, beach clean up drives, nature appreciation walks and campaigns to save trees with volunteers and partners.

Health

“To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear” -Buddha
Health, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO), is “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. It is true – a healthy body boosts a healthy mind. Trailblazers Foundation organizes blood donation drives, dental check up camps and need assessment for the community in Mahuli as a part of its health initiatives.

Mission

To promote initiatives in education, environment and health through awareness creation, enablement, engagement, research and advocacy, independently or in partnership with other agencies both in the government and the private sector.

PEACE Project

It is important that we convert the fallow and industrial lands into green lands. These green lands not only increase the aesthetic value and provide respite from heat but also provide habitat for birds, insects and animal in addition to sequestering carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and trapping the dust particles.

The other day, some of our children saw a leaking tap. They collected water for a few minutes in a glass, took it to the Principal and showed him how precious water is being wasted. He immediately got the tap repaired and congratulated the children on their sense of responsibility. This was possible because of the learning we had at the Dow Multiply the Message workshop.
